Ispirato da una scultura di Frank Kuman, Cervasio ridetermina l’incontro, all’interno del ventre materno di due vite che potrebbero essere concepite insieme o soltanto uno, l’altro sarà vittima della natura. Solo la chiave dell’amore utilizzando la serratura del tempo potrà determinarne il risultato.
Le evoluzioni del maestro si uniscono alle collaborazione dei figli, dai raffinati intarsi realizzati della figlia Giannamaria e del marito Domenico Costabile alle colorazioni realizzati dai figli Filippo e Crescenzo opera che racchiude la creatività del maestro e quella tramandata a tutti i suoi figli.
Legami come catene vincolano le nostre scelte fin dall’infanzia, eppure esiste la chiave per aprire le serrature dei sentimenti.
I legami che ci vincolano a volte sono impossibili da spiegare. Ci uniscono anche quando sembra che si debbano spezzare. Certi legami sfidano le distanze, il tempo e la logica perché ci sono legami che sono semplicemente destinati ad esistere.

Partire per lasciarsi alle spalle il passato ed affrontare il futuro senza rimpianti. Cervasio rappresenta questo cambiamento, immaginando di andare incontro al futuro ma guardando indietro, uno sguardo che racchiude la consapevolezza e la voglia di affrontare un cambiamento, una evoluzione.
Tra i soggetti che l’artista preferisce incidere ci sono anche le persone più avanti con gli anni, due donne con due visi diversi rappresentano l’una la sapienza intervenuta con la maturità degli anni e l’altra, la evidenzia il contrasto, con la stoltezza che è legata al cuore dei più giovani.
Soggetto rappresentante il peccato che commisero i propri primogenitori, Adamo ed Eva. Vollero decidere da sé, tra il bene e il male ricevettero amare conseguenze, trasmettendo a tutta l’umanità il peccato, la vergogna e la morte.
