I “profilo di donna” di Garofalo indossano nuove vesti, avvolti dai panneggi che nascondono dalla materia e si differenziano per le espressioni dei volti mai uguali l’uno dall’altro. Realizzato in collaborazione con la figlia di Giannamaria e suo marito Domenico Costabile che curano i raffinati intarsi con il corallo e oro 18 kt.

Nelle sue opere, Cervasio, combina figure classiche con quelle moderne, creando così una giusta armonia. La mano dell’artista molto curata e dettagliata nelle sue opere fa sì che, chi la vede entri nel suo mondo. L’ Amore e il Sé, dal punto di vista introspettivo, sono i temi principali che raffigurano l’artista, portando le sue incisioni ad un nuovo livello di visione dell’arte contemporanea. La mostra ospita 18 opere, riguardanti una parte del percorso artistico di Cervasio.
Il bene e il male, secondo Cervasio, avviene in una rappresentazione unitaria. Tutte le figure, possono generare il bene e il male che rappresentano le 2 facce di una stessa medaglia. Così l’angelo che è demonio allo stesso tempo, la donna divorata dai serpenti e dalle sue ambizioni che da la nascita alla fenice. Tutto sotto una nuova entità che osserva l’evoluzione del bene e del male, stavolta senza le fattezze di un vecchio con la barba ma di una donna alata.
